I also went and found where our deputation will be sitting. We are in the front row, stage left. I suspect that the powers that be want to keep a close eye on us, or Polly Getz got us the good seats. It was hard to get a picture, because even in the front row the dias was so far away the flash didn't have enough power.

Here's our coner of the room:

I ran into our Presiding Bishop and Mrs. Griswold this morning too. I encouraged them both to stop by the EGR Booth to see the pictures from the Hardison's work in Kenya. I got to say hi to Bishop Gibbs of Detroit, a classmate of mine and ran into lots of old friends from around the country.

So far the major consensus reached is: The exhibition hall has some nifty stuff.

Committe work starts in earnest tomorrow, tonight people will be reading the 4 incg binder of material we received today.

Michael, I'm delighted to see you've created a blog for your GC musings. I've been following (and enjoying) your pithy posts on the HoBD list, and can't wait to hear your take on this big event.

BTW, I'd love to see pix of some of the HoBD regulars.

YIKES! You got another 4-inch binder that you must read??? Hope there's good coffee nearby.

You are very much in my prayers, Michael.

Dear Fr. Mike,

Here's at least one of your parishoners showing up to read your GC blog. I am delighted that one of your first posts is about EGR because I am most interested in what happens with them than I am about Issue Number One, which I sick to death of.

And I wonder if Scott in Chicago is my friend, Soctt?

Michael+, you better get crackin' here. The other Verbosians are out-blogging you big-time. I'm quite eager to hear more of your insights and snappy banter.
